Pocklington's display is on sale: 5 Nov, fireworks 6.45pm, £5. Beverley is Tuesday 3 Nov, Driffield the 5th, Hornsea the 6th. Bridlington still unannounced.
Four organised firework displays in the East Riding now have a confirmed 2026 date. Two of them, Driffield and Pocklington, fall on Bonfire Night itself. Beverley’s is two days earlier, on a Tuesday, so if you assume it is on the nearest Saturday you will miss it by four days.
Updated 1 October: Pocklington Town Council put its display on sale today, Thursday 5 November at West Green, fireworks at 6.45pm, £5. Details below.
Bonfire Night 2026 is Thursday 5 November.
Beverley, Tuesday 3 November
Beverley Firework Spectacular, at Beaver Park, Norwood, Beverley RUFC, HU17 9HT, run by Sky Magic Events. The ticket record on the seller’s own site gives the date as 3 November 2026 and the window as 4pm to 9.30pm.
- Adult £10, child £5 (16 and under only), VIP £17.50. Under 5s free.
- VIP includes a private bar in the clubhouse, clubhouse toilets and an exclusive viewing area.
- Walk-in attendees are welcome, so you do not have to book in advance.
- There is no parking on site. The organiser’s wording is explicit: “you will need to park elsewhere and walk to the Rugby Club.”
- Uneven and potentially muddy ground. The organiser asks for a torch and sensible footwear.

A trap on the rugby club’s own website. Beverley RUFC’s fireworks page still carries Friday 7 November with a running order of gates 4pm, entertainment and funfair 5pm, fireworks 7pm, close 9.30pm. Friday 7 November was last year’s date. The 4pm to 9.30pm shape matches this year’s ticket window, so the running order is probably close, but the date on that page is a year out. Take the date from the ticket page.
Sky Magic is touring one rig round four sites this year: Pickering on Sunday 1 November, Beverley on the Tuesday, Driffield on the Thursday and Church Fenton on the Saturday. That is why Beverley lands mid week.
Driffield, Thursday 5 November
Driffield Firework Spectacular, at Driffield Showground, Kelleythorpe, YO25 9DN, also Sky Magic. 4pm to 9.30pm.
- Adult £10, child £5 (16 and under only). Under 5s free.
- VIP drive-in parking £15, and the organiser is clear that this “is for parking ONLY and does not grant entry to the event”, so you still need an admission ticket for everyone in the car.
- VIP cars are parked facing the display, engine and lights off, and you can watch from the car or from the space beside it. Gazebos are not allowed in that area.
- Ordinary parking is in a separate area of the showground and involves a walk to the display site.

Hornsea, Friday 6 November
Hornsea Carnival’s fireworks display is dated 6 November 2026 on the carnival’s own trader application form, which is the only place on its website the event currently appears. The form does not restate the venue or the times, and there is no ticket page, so those are still to be confirmed.
What we can say from the carnival’s own material and past coverage: it has been a free town event held in Hall Garth Park, and the committee switched to low-yield fireworks a few years ago, in the chairman’s words, so that “we get more flash and sparkle and less bang” for people with pets.

Bridlington: nothing announced
Bridlington Rugby Club’s display at Dukes Park has no 2026 date. The club’s own events calendar, rechecked on 1 October, lists a children’s Halloween party on Friday 30 October, cash bingo on Friday 6 November and cash bingo on Friday 4 December. There is no display on it. (Bridlington RUFC events)
For reference, last year’s ran on 5 November, gates at 5.30pm, fireworks around 7.30pm, with entry at £5 for adults, £3 for under 16s and free for under 3s, paid on the gate, plus fairground rides and food. (Bridlington Echo, 2 November 2025)
If the club follows the same pattern it will announce in late October. We will update this page when it does.
Pocklington, Thursday 5 November
Pocklington’s community fireworks display is on Thursday 5 November at the Queen Elizabeth II Playing Fields, West Green, run by Pocklington Town Council, which announced the ticket launch on 1 October. Tickets are sold through Pocklington Arts Centre’s box office.
- Gates 5pm, with food and drink vendors. Last admission 6.30pm.
- Fireworks 6.45pm, finishing around 7pm.
- Dangerous Steve performs from 5.30pm to 6pm and again from 6.10pm to 6.40pm, with a stilt walker at the start of the evening.
- £5 for 12 and over, family of four £18, 11 and under free, certified carers free. No booking fee. Up to 12 tickets per order.
- Online sales close at 4pm on the day. Card and cash are both taken on the gate.
- Capacity is 2,000, and 1,943 tickets were still available on 6 October.

A stale page to ignore. Pocklington Arts Centre’s older “Pocklington Community Bonfire” page still reads “Sun 5 Nov”, with adults at £4. That was 2023. The 2026 event is the town council’s, on the Thursday, at £5.
The council does not list the displays
East Riding of Yorkshire Council publishes a bonfire and fireworks page, but it is safety advice only: the firework code, sparkler guidance, protecting pets and wildlife, and the law. It says the council “would like to encourage residents to attend an organised bonfire if possible” without naming a single one. There is no official district list, which is why the information above comes from five separate organisers. (East Riding of Yorkshire Council, bonfire and firework events)
The council page is a useful reminder of one legal point: you can let fireworks off until midnight on 5 November, and between 11pm and 7am on any other night it is an offence.
One more display worth knowing about, later in the month: Beverley’s Christmas lights switch-on at Flemingate ends with fireworks, fired straight after the lights come on. It is on Friday 13 November from 5pm, and we are tracking it on our East Riding Christmas lights switch-on page.
Getting there and parking
None of the four confirmed displays has parking you can rely on. Beverley’s has none at all on site, Driffield charges £15 for the drive-in bays and puts everyone else at a distance, and Hornsea has not said, and Pocklington’s disabled spaces at West Green must be reserved in advance. Our parking in Beverley page lists the town’s car parks, their opening hours and which of them are gated at weekends, and roadworks and travel covers anything booked in on the routes in during that week.
